Default New Magnaflow and K&N on!!!

Well I got the exhaust and intake done over the weekend and I have to say I'm lovin' it! Sounds great with no drone and can feel a bit of change in response but not much. Next is to decide whether to tune or not! Here's a few pictures taken from the phone. The exhaust lines up perfect with the cutouts in the bumpers like it was meant to be there! Enjoy!!!

So with the K&N kit, you keep the resonator box on? I would have thought that would be gone.

What you see in the picture is a full kit. That's a heat shield provided with the k&n, if that's what you were referring to!

Make sure you keep that K&N filter lubed...... For off-road use, I go with air raid, but on the street K&N works well. I use them on the Harley. We need a sound clip of the new pipes!

The resonator box is what the other end of the tube is attached to, i.e. the opposite end of the filter. You would get better airflow if you removed the resonator box, but it would be louder under the hood.

Yeah what H3donist said....

The resonator box is the big square ugly looking thing that is on top of the engine and is piped to the throttle body. I would have thought the K&N kit would have a single pipe straight from the filter to the throttle body. hmm...That and the fact that it uses the open style airbox makes me even more glad I did not go that route. But if you are stoked cool. Thanks for the pics.

The exhaust looks good! I have thought about it but I would destroy those tips in about 10min off road

I've got dual tips(Flowmaster, came already on it) on my H3, went to the Superlift ORV park and squished my right exhaust tip along with bending the license plate to where it almost pointed upwards. I don't know how my left tip survived untouched.

Yours look great though, I'd like to get some just like it, but I don't want to get them ruined like my current ones.

My K&N tube goes straight to the throttle body. I had to remove the resonator to install it. I have a K&N FIPK cold air installed. Not sure why yours is different, with that shorter tube.
