I've found almost everything I need, except the upper and lower grilles. Any help will be much appreciated.

 

> Front Lower Grille - GM (20856212) - This still available as a GM Part and is the part if you have a brush guard. Go to GMPartsdirect.com and it is $37 right now. I have a used one that I can let go for half that.

> Front Lower Grille - GM (20856213) - This is the part without a brush guard. This one does not appear anywhere but does pop up on eBay occasionally... I may have one and will look.

> Bright Chrome Front Grille with Cover and Clips - GM (25886172) - This is still an available GM part. google it... you can get it for under $150 right now... may not come with the radiator guard so confirm that. You want to buy from GM if possible because they come with the right box and packaging... otherwise can get damaged in shipping.

 

So I ordered the upper grille through GM and it is on national backorder with no dealers showing any stock, nation wide. Basically it's discontinued. I was able to get the bumper cover from a dealer in Detroit. As far as the lower grille, what is the difference between with or without brushguard? If it is minimal, I'd buy your used one.

 

Check these guys out for the chrome grill... they say they have it in stock, but may want to call... if they have it in stock, let me know, I may just buy one!

OK - I just ordered 20856212 - Lower Grille from gmpartsdirect.com for $37.... they say they have it in stock... I will let you know if it actually arrives... if yes... it is a steal of a deal!

 

I also have Gmoutletparts checking availability on the upper grille, but I'll be shocked if they find one. I'm curious to see what you come up with.

 

OK - I have that lower grille being shipped... when I get it... I have have an extra...

For the main grille for the 2008... I am replacing mine with one of the Titanium black chrome versions... if you can wait... I will have an extra original chrome grille.

 

That would be great! I've been contemplating putting on 03-07 grilles but wanted to go back original as possible. How long of a wait are we talking? I'm pretty anxious to get this rig rolling. And where in the hell did you find a black chrome 08-09 grille?
