If your not going to be doing much off roading, get splash guards!
Geez, drove thru "light" rain last night for the first time and the H3 looks like I went off road in it.
Very dramatic rain/road grome patterns!
Probably from my Adventure Package tires....dirt and grime all over !

You talking about the oem (dealer) mudflaps? Are there aftermarket that work better? I like the molded kind though, for less interference (you said not for offroad; do they hit things or something?)

From what I understand, rigid mud flaps/splash guards can tear off in some offroad conditions. Not sure how rigid the aftermarket Huskys are compared to OEM.

Good point, even though it may be rare (being they are small IIRC). Besides, if I can find some that are <$100, be better than paying $170 to the dealer.

Dude, you are driving a Hummer. This has the coolest mud splatter on a vehicle today.

Save your cash and forgo the mud guards.

I have the OEM ones and they don't help at all, yeah they look cool, but they don't help keep the dirt/mud/slush off any part of the Hummer.
I was talking to a co-worker that bought her H3 new in 2006, and she has no mud guards. She also says that the H3 is a very cool vehicle to drive through puddles with. I actually haven't tried that.
Like Soonerta said, "the coolest mud splatter on a vehicle today"

I still get the slush on the front side of the back fender, and all along the side.
