yellow/green fluid leak under load
Tried doing a forum search but not much success.
07 H3 5cyl 110k miles going in tomorrow for a tranny service as fluid shows low anyway but I'm having my mechanic check a concerning leak. Two times now in the past month when working through deep snow drifts (it's Michigan we've had a lot and it's been fun and very capable) I've noticed clumps of snow with what looks like, my best description would be mountain dew, in some of the snow. just the one time a baseball size clump and then saturday several more in a 20 foot stretch where the skid plate left a nice track. i've only noticed it the two times. I've always had a regular habit of checking under my vehicle for anything leaking. It's easy with the snow too. I had the radiator replaced mid january so I doubt coolant and it has no noticeable smell either. It would seem there's a possible correlation with working hard through the snow vs regular driving? |
What color is your coolant? Many shops use compatible coolants. I wouldn't put that in my rig, dexcool only for me!

thankx. yeah he used dexcool so it's not that.
