I bought a 2005 H2 with 6 disc radio that lets me select XM channels. Previous owner removed the Onstar panel and added a storage pocket in its location. I tried activating the XM function on the radio and get no signal no matter how i try. The XM reciever behind the glove box is there and antenna plugged in. Does the Onstar panel have to be installed to complete the loop for the antenna to work the XM? If so can I bypass where the Onstar plugs are hanging so I can get the antenna to work the XM? Or does Onstar panel not matter and I have another problem? Sorry for so many questions. Two months of research and nothing...
