Hey guys... today a buddy of mine took the VCIM out of his 10 CTS and it worked! So now i've just got to figure out where I can get a new 09 or 10 VCIM. I was told that I can tell them that my OnStar don't always connect. And if a dealer will order me a new one I'll have Bluetooth, or i've got to find one out of a junk yard.

 

How about some details (once you calm down) like part numbers and such.

 

Anymore info on this? I have an 07 with Nav but no Bluetooth and an Onstar System I don't use, and will not pay for!!!

 

Can't find a dealer that will sell me a VCIM for an 09 or 10 H3... I've searched junk yards and they won't sell them either.

 

I found the VCIM and antenna on ebay. paid 125 for the brain and 20 for the antenna I just need to find time to try it. will keep you posted

Where did it come from? Did it work? Part numbers?

 

The VCIM is for a 2009 GMC Sierra part number 25990227 the seller claims it was never installed. I have not installed it yet maybe next weekend

 

does that one have voice recognition? looking at an 09 h3 they have with and without
looks like same harness for either. so i think i'm going to try to get the one with.

 

The one i pulled out of the CTS has Voice recognition and i worked... just wish i could find one now
