It depends on where you are located now. I bought my Oldsmobile up in Idaho and live in California. Two different weather changes....when i first got it,it was brand new and it was very well taken care of. Within a year or two from being down here,the sun started cracking the leather on the seats and my A/C Core broke down which was a 1300 dollar estimate by itself. The windshield wipers worked when it wanted to....just too many small details...It really depends on the vehicle...Rusting is never a good thing.

 

I should have mentioned that the rust was exclusively in the undercarriage. I deal with farm trucks down here, but this had tons of rust. I put an offer in at the dealership, but we decided to go our separate ways. I didn't feel like paying full retail for a vehicle that had not been taken care of and needed 2k in tires. My search continues...

 

I have only 32000 km on my 2008, the only issues I've had, were the battery, it needed to be replaced when I first got it, and some throttle sensor. Other than that, it's been great!
