Stop halfway up glass,sometimes they dont turn off,and in delay mode when you turn on they swipe but end up not retuning down.Sound like wiper motor?Thanks

Sounds more like a motor control problem to me.

my guess from pont experience
 

gm,(my pontiac), puts the wiper delay electronics on a circuit boarb in the motor assembly. the connector pins are soldered in the board. the solder gets intermittent.
you can reheat,add more solder,better than new.

remember when out of warr,ez fix
