Any help would be appreciated, i am aware of all the recalls but they do not apply to my truck.
I have a 2005 sut, the front wipers were doing the typical, washer motor non-stop running, wipers failing to shut off or intermittently working, figure its the board on the motor, which have not been able to locate so was attempting to buy the assy motor included, but as luck would have it cannot find new, remaned or used, cardone who rebuilds has none, rock auto says send mine and approx two weeks i will get back...but u never know. I need this truck for this weekend. I was thinking maybe go in for a temp fix and hard wire motor with a toggle in the truck, or some thing. I dont know the pin-out for the connector though.....i love this truck but i have never had trouble finding parts for a late model vehicle like this ever

 

yes , the board needs solder,,its ok

if its like its cousin my pontiac transporte with the board in the wiper assm

i originally bought one at a junkyard,and it also was intmt

sooo i dismantled and resoldered the CONTACT CONNECTIONS which get stressed and crack the thin solder from the factory. those are the pins that the cable plugs onto

feel free to melt that solder and add some to build up the thickness

after i fixed the junk assm i fixed my orig!!!

always nice to have spares,,,but not needed

IF YOU MOVE THE ARM ANY AT ALL THE MOTOR WILL TRY TO ROTATE AND COULD MANGLE YOUR HAND B4 YOU CAN THINK ABOUT IT!!! YOU CANNOT STOP IT!!

i had that happen with headlite motors and i got stuck for a while!!
