windshield noise

i have a 04 victory red H2 and at times on the freeway the noise that comes from the windshield is terrible. sounds like its going to fall off. should this be a concern, has anybody had this problem and got it fix? Is this a problem that the dealer can fix and would they charge me sense its a factory defect?

'09H3 highway noise

Noticed same noise when over 65mph, but only since installing brush guard. I think it has something to do with the change of airflow. Maybe causing turbulance. I am thinking this because I also noticed that when I use washer fluid at this speed it is also effected. Let me know what yall think.

the plastic strips down the sides of the windshield catch air and vibrate at high speeds. A little RTV or double sided tape should fix the problem

Usually the noise is from wind noise. Such items as an incorrect antenna, brush guard, bug guard or window vent or even aftermarket wipers can cause this..

Other than that loose trim, or an improperly sealed windshield if it was replaced recently.. ;) J

If you are positive the source is the windshield, I'd take it to a good glass shop instead of the dealer. A good glass/window guy should be able to make sure it's sealed right.

Yes a good glass shop should be able to competently reseal or replace it. Actually most dealers, car shops & Auto body shops sub to the glass guys anyway.. ;)

mmmm just a thought would turning up the volume on the radio drown out the sound?
