Thumbs up Windshield Lights on H3

Thoughts on Offroad lights above hood?
I would have to mount on the plastic channel on the windshield.

This is a similar concept to what you're trying to do. H3 Light Cowl Set by Predator Motorsports

Re visit mounting location IMHO. The plastic channel/ Pillar trim would NOT be a good spot. Idk about you but if you plan on wheelin your rig a branch will make short work of those lights if mounted there, that plastic is not strong enough to handle twisting or impact...

Hunner installed rotating lights on the cowl vents, i would say thats a better spot...

just my .02

Agreed with Dagkana, a branch would rip them off unless you make a set of limb risers (but you have no roof rack or brush guard), and that's still no guarantee.

Check out Hunner's truck. He has done something similar.

His lights are pretty securely mounted to the cowls though.
