Default window tint and tire pressure monitor?

I was told that regular window tint would interfere with my tire pressure monitor on H3. I think this is b.s., but has anyone else ever heard this? this was from an reputable tint shop. thanks

Again...they can't possibly be related or affect each other. It sounds so rediculus that you think maybe it is true because no one would make that crap up. I'm getting major blips on the b.s. radar. If I'm wrong I will apologize, but I don't see how.

April was last month....Right?

That has to be some of the silliest **** I've ever heard.

Even if it was a reflective/metallic tint....WTF?

But I guess anything is possible depending on where the receiver antenna is located.
