will running 315/75/16 stress my drivetrain ?

I thinking of running 315/75/16 tires on my H3 Alpha, will stress my drivetrain component's ? does anyone have any experience they would like to share with me ?

a lot of people run them on every variation of H3. Even if it does put more stress on the drivetrain most of us don't even notice

Ah..... ehem, ........... the H3 was DESIGNED to allow for 35" off road tires without modification. It was not a mistake or coincidence. ;)

Will 35s dim street performance? Yes, but 1000s of them are out there driving every day on 35s.

Ask yourself one question first. Most 35s are not 35" in diameter, they are mostly 34.4-34.5". 285s and 305s are almost all a true 33" diameter. Do you think you will be off road enough that an extra 7/16" of ground clearance is worth the change in final drive ratio cause by the larger tire? Personal preference is what it boils down to. I'll stick with 33s with my I5, if I had an Alpha, I would run 35s.

If I had an Alpha I would run 37's and I5 gearing. ;)
