Wierd squealing noise (sometimes) when turning
 

2003 H2 - 95,000 miles - Makes a wierd squealing noise (sometimes) when I am turning. Any suggestions?????????

Have had the speedo replaced and I am having the front wheel bearings replaced today. They were making grinding noise (almost like brakes).

Slipping power steering belt?

Not power steering belt.
 

The noise is coming from somewhere in the (front) drivetrain or suspension. It only happens sometimes and sound like a cat is squealing or crying. It is weird!!!!!

Turns out it that having the wheel bearings replaced fixed my problem. I can't believe it! The wheel bearings were making a light grinding noise - BUT the squealing????? Anyway I just drove 20 miles home from the shop (in CSL, México) and had no noise.

Cost: Bearings $416.00 (2) - Labor $68.00 U.S.

I love my H2 again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
