I can only say I have the BFG MT's 315x75x16 on the stock rims and TOTALLY stock suspension and they work just fine. I like the large sidewall look you get with the 16" factory rims on a H3 much better than the 18's and larger. Then again I like things that are functional and for off road you want more sidewall. They just look beefier.
