I just bought an 08 h3, and also just learned that all the Hummers have been discontinued...I have alot of customizing in mind for it, does this mean that eventually I'm not going to have anymore options for accessories? Do I need to buy everything as soon as possible?

 

Welcome to the forum. What customizing do you have in mind? If your looking for chrome than I wouldn't expect any shortage. However other parts maybe limited as far as a availability and rarity, as parts become more scarce the prices seem to increase. Weve already seen it in a couple areas and as time progresses inventory will get lighter and less and less companies are sticking around making parts for us H3 owners

 

Lots of stuff on eBay & craigslist...

 

welcome to the forum. im sure there will always be aftermarket parts of some kind to add on and/or replace. ive always wondered how people were able to find parts to restore classic cars and yet they still do! so one day, when these are classics, im sure we'll be able to get the parts, just not the originals anymore......

 

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about. Thanks for the welcome. I'm going to be doing alot ( well plan to) like brushguards, bumpers, lift, rack, ladder, and I want to black out all the trim because unfortunaly the one I bought had the chrome package.....not big on shiny stuff...

Thanks guys! I'm located in Panama city FL. Pics soon to come. But I'm def going for the off road look and performance. I live in the stick so I'm not big on chrome and big flashy rims lol
