armorall is specifically designed to destroy everything it touches, as well as leave you with greasy hands for 6 months after applying it. i use a mink oil mix that i use for my tooling leather, but it may darken the lighter shades. dennis will have the exact answer for those that want to maintain the exact color, and the mink oil isn't really meant for car interior leather. i had it, so what the f*&%$, thought i'd use it.

Good for yourhands and The Best stuff for ANY leather...

LEATHERIQUE
LEATHER FACTSVery unique versa other leather care products, our Leatherique Prestine Clean, and Rejuvenator Oil work with a capillary action. Both have ingredients including proteins, cleaners, and conditioners that find their way deep into the natural pores of the leather and force out the dirt, perspiration, air pollution, and other toxins. These last agents are what dry out and destroy the fibers of the leather, depleting their strength, flexibility, and causing them to deteriorate.
This is especially true with equestrian leather and saddles where there is always perspiration and its salts to attack leather fibers and leave the leather dry and prone to cracking. Our products work especially well on leather car seats, motorcycle leather, leather furniture and all other leather items. Although it was named Rejuvenator Oil by founding fathers, Ty Peck and George Pavlisko, Sr., this product actually contains no fillers such as mineral oil or petroleum products as Lexol and other products do. The formula is based on a natural Old Swedish secret and is a complex blend of proteins and collagens that actually restore the tensile strength to the leather. Rejuvenator Oil and Prestine Clean do not just sit on top of the leather. They will not make it slick and greasy. They do not harm the stitching as do most other products. One application to the reverse (unfinished) side, with sufficient permeation time, is usually all that is required for reconditioning most cardboard hard, neglected leather. The enriching formula, once embedded in the leather fibers, continues to condition for several months.
Tests have been performed on our products by outside sources. They have determined that Rejuvenator Oil contains more beneficial ingredients than any competing formula, or any other leather treatment product on the market! In addition, our Rejuvenator Oil and Prestine Clean contain no Silicon, which dries leather, and no wax that merely sits on the surface and does nothing. We also advise against saddle soap, as it has been known to remove the dye from the leather. If your dye is worn away, call us or see Restoring and Dyeing about our simple to use Leatherique Leather Dye. The process, as outlined in our instructions, can bring remarkable results. Our dye is the premier product of its type. It has continued to keep pace with advances in co-polymer technology and uses only the finest, first-quality pigments. We recommend a preventative maintenance "face lift" three to four times a year with Rejuvenator Oil. Optimum times to make applications are at the seasonal changes and after hard use to prevent deterioration and shrinkage. Use Prestine Clean as a maintenance cleaner and conditioner in one easy step, each time the leather is stressed by weather or perspiration. Prestine Clean and Rejuvenator Oil may be applied with your hands as heat helps it penetrate the surface of the leather. They are both safe, natural and non-toxic. Natural oils were used to treat leather and keep it flexible since the earliest of cave man days. These natural oils included those excreted by the people who wore the skins for warmth and by the animal fats from the foods they ate, (recall they had not invented napkins or table manners). As "modern" man began using more items derived from petroleum and their by-products, they rationalized that the chemical oils would work to provide the lacquer painted dyed surface the appearance of being softer and more leather-like. It may have provided the lacquer finish with the allusion of flexibility, but it actually was harmful for the leather fibers. These oils are not at all necessary in the preservation of leather fibers, and actually help induce the break

Perfect Karl...The best time to do the treatment is in a bright sunny warm day..You should let the car sit in the sun all day after you apply the oil..then clean it with the Pristine cleaner the next day.

I found this stuff when looking for something to put on the Jag's connollyleather..The dealer recommended this for the Jaguar..In my research I found out that it was origianlly used on Rolls Royces.

How should I care for the leather in my Ferrari?

Ferraris are special cars, and special care must be taken to keep them in excellent condition. Since so much of the interior of most Ferraris is covered with leather, proper leather care is crucial to the upkeep of your car's interior.
The leather for Ferrari interiors is manufactured by the English company "Connolly." Connolly has been tanning hides for use in high-end automobiles such as Rolls Royce, Jaguar, and Ferrari for many years, and has been a leather tanner and currier since 1878. Off-the-shelf leather conditioners that may be suitable for leather interiors in more common cars are not suitable for the restoration and preservation of your Ferrari leather. There are a few options that contentious Ferrari owners employ to keep their leather in great shape, as well as restoring damaged leather.

Leatherique
Leatherique products are becoming more and more popular among Ferrari owners as the leather products of choice for restoring, cleaning, and conditioning leather interiors. Leatherique has a Web site at http://www.leatherique.com/, and offers special discounts to Ferrari owners. The fact that Leatherique can restore damaged leather in addition to maintaining the appearance of healthy leather has caused many Ferrari owners to switch to using Leatherique. There are other benefits to using Leatherique as well, including the absence of wax build-up that is common among Hide Food users.
Leatherique's leather cleaning system is comprised of two products: Rejuvenator Oil and Prestine Clean. The Rejuvenator Oil penetrates the pores in your Ferrari's leather, restoring suppleness and driving dirt to the surface. It should be liberally applied to all leather surfaces with your bare hands, and allowed to soak in overnight. Best results occur if you cover your leather surfaces in plastic, park the car in the sun with the windows rolled up, and allow a "steam room" effect to heat the oil and allow it to penetreate deep into the pores of the leather. If the leather is very dry or brittle, multiple applications over a few days will create astonishing results.
Once your leather has been treated with Rejuvenator Oil and left at least overnight, Prestine Clean should be applied to the surfaces with your bare hands. You may use a toothbrush to rub extra dirty areas. Let Prestine Clean stand for 10-15 minutes, then rub the surface in a circular motion with a clean terry cloth towel to remove dirt. For best results, you should warm your bottle of Prestine Clean (either in the microwave or under hot tap water) before applying the solution.
Leatherique also sells compound to fill cracks in leather, as well as water-based dyes for Connolly leathers. The water-based dyes are a perfect color match, and are easier to apply and better for your leather than the older laquer-based dyes.
