Default What did they do to get this look?

This is a new H3T listed for sale in Salt Lake City. I called the dealer and they told me nothing has been done to "lift" this truck, but I swear it looks different than most H3T's out there. I just bought my H3T (get it in 2 weeks) and I'm anxious to pick a set of wheels/tires that give it this look, but I'd prefer a wheel that looks more stock. Any ideas?

I agree that it does look leveled. Just a torsion bar twist.

Looks like it has been leveled and has an MT tire that I would guess is a 305 size to give it a wider look...... maybe it is a 285?
But they really seemed to have cranked up that front end.

Looks like a torsion bar adjustment, with tires.

I just bought a 3T and the dealer did the same for me, torsion bar adjustment, shocks, and bumpstops, and 325 75 16 Nitto Terra Grapplers on the stock wheels.

It is an ALpha pkg, Offroad Pkg truck.

I was at the dealer yesterday picking up a tool box, and parked next to a stock 3T and the difference is amazing.

Is there a downside to adjusting the torsion bar?

Well, for a single word answer I will say no. However there is a lot of info on this topic if you want the details, and I suggest you get the details and make your own conclusion. There is a ton of info on this topic and if you search you will find all you need to know.
Hint: there is another thread in the H3 section that talks about leveling. Look for a post by me....

Largemouth
There is a little rubbing at a full lock, but nothing too bad. The size is about a 35.5x12.75 on the stck 16" wheel. I just couldnt justify the near $2500 for a rancho lift, and I am not going any larger in tire size anyway so I do not have to regear the truck.

leveling, bigger tires, less gas mileage, it all adds up to: it's gonna break someday anyways

Hey how much is a little rubbing. Full crank or are you getting it @ 3/4 crank. Looks good.
