Well, crap...SERV TPM after new wheels

I guess the REASON this SERV TPM message keeps yelling at me from the driver info display would be due to the aftermarket rims. Ok, I've got it figured out that far. I found in the owners manual the reset code/sequence/whatever...but will that work? Since the rims are tires are both not OEM?

What is the best way to go about shutting that message off?

Thanks!

PS the new wheels look quite lovely.

take to dealer, i have after market rims and i had the message appear and took to dealer and have not seen it since and they did not charge me. i heard they have a computer and they connect the h3 to it and they just change the numbers. if u ask any honest gm dealer they will tell you the tpm is basically useless in away cause there is a fault to them. if u have a flat tire and get in and start the car it will not tell you. the wheel needs to spin arround so the sensor can read the circumfrance and then it will tell you.so u will no first be4 the tpm does atleast thats what the guys at my dealer tell me.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. I need to get it in to be recalibrated anyway as the new tires are slightly taller than the ones I replaced and I don't want my speedo off either.

Problem is, our local Hummer/Chevy/Cadillac deal is a bunch of d-bags. Oh well. :)

Oh BTW, VERY sharp H3! I like it.
