RE: water pump leak!
IMO, the savings on a rebuilt water pump is not enough to justifynot buying a new one. Once the seal gos, it is time to replace the pump, it really cannot economically be "fixed", needs replacement. Good luck. Glad the H2 guys got the hood issue covered, got no clue on that one. :D

RE: water pump leak!
All of my rebuilt water pumps have failed quickly, within a year or so. I just don't trust them.

RE: water pump leak!
I had the water pump on my 2003 H2 replaced by Kyle at Weseloh Hummer In San Juan Capistrano. I don't have the paperwork with me but new OEM pump and labor was $450-$500 total.
Tustin and Cerritos Hummer in Socal have good service departments also. Not sure about LA area. |
RE: water pump leak!
and yeah.... that price I mentioned was for a GM part.... which is within $20 of the rebuilt crap...
Gene at GMpartshouse.com should have them if you have somebody to do it for you... |
