Warranty Roadside Assist Refresher - FYI
Just a FYI for those with 2007's and up......
I did not know the Roadside Assistance goes to the 5 year/100K powertrain warranty (thought it was only the 4 year/50k), which covers towing to dealer, battery jump, lockout, trip insurance, flat tire, and 5 bucks for out of fuel....free. Also just use your On-Star to call or if you don't have it activated, call Cadillac 800-224-1400. Learned something new today:cool: warranty |
Good information to know !

Thanks
I was not too sure on the length of service.. So thanks for the 411...

I keep the HUMMER roadside assistance # stored in my phone!
It is: 866-486-6376 Towing is to the "nearest HUMMER service dealer". You can pay extra and have your HUMMER towed to the dealer of your choice. I called once for a "jump", I told the guy who came out that I jumped it twice already and you will got a new battery installed on the spot (had them in the repair rig)! |
Cool...I didn't think the Hummer # still worked as they no longer list it in the FAQ Warranty info...
Nice on the battery deal!;) |
Is there any way to tell exactly when our warranty runs out? Since I canceled my OnStar, I don't have a clue.
|
Songman: you can contact pretty much any dealer (you already have a relationship with the one you posted about today) and give them your VIN. They can tell you the "inservice date" and give you a rundown of the warranty peroid you have for your particular HUMMER.
Ex: Inservice date Feb 2008 4/50K B2B exp: Feb 2012 5/100K Drivetrain exp: Feb 2013 |
Thanks Tainter... Good idea!
