Volant Cold Air Intake on H3 Alpha
 

Hi all,
I just purchased and fitted a Volant cold air intake for my H3 Alpha and the result is....hmmmm....terrible!! The engine lost all its torque at low rpm and the truck feels very lazy, except at high rpm where it still performs well.
Have you guys experienced same situation? I need to mention that I've fitted same product onto several different cars with always good results. This one is strange. Appreciate if your lights on the subject. Cheers, Nicolas

On their website, Volant don't list a CAI for the Alpha. Maybe that's your problem.

Why anyone would buy something other than an airdoc is beyond me... :(

Ditto. I had one on my 06, 08 and now the 10 Alpha. A quality product.

Hi Guys, I've managed to get in touch with Danny Moniz, VP & COO of Volant. They had the kit on market for a few months about a year & a half ago. (The kit I have is then good for the Alpha) They had a 5 - 10% failure rate (mostly low end loss of power) on that kit & discontinued it shortly after that. Danny is very helpful & he's looking into a solution. Great support from Volant! Cheers.
