I currently have a base 06 H3 with the stock 265 31" tires. I would like to get the larger 285 33" tires from the Adventure pack. I've heard that if I do this, I need to have the vehicle reprogrammed for the larger tires. Can anyone confirm?

 

I guess you could get it re-programmed but I dont think its necessary. I would just throw the tires on and enjoy!

 

changing tire size will affect speed & milleage but if you can live w/ that being a little off you don't have to reprogram the PCM

 

FYI the 265's are 32's not 31's.

 

I have 315/75/16 and its about a 5mph difference....so just watch your speed...
