Turbonetics
Any following the discussion in the Group Buy section on Turbonetics? Anybody in here have experience with them? Seems like there are some unhappy campers that have dealt with them. Does the board ever consider these issues or just stay out of it?
I've been reading that thread since I have been here...
there are some pissed of people and as long as they remain somewhat civil I let them go...
I can see both sides of the deal... but I think their turbo kitsare ****ty...
I stay out of it because there is nothing I can do...

What about that water4gas thread https://www.hummerforums.com/m_139385/tm.htm? Does that even sound believable, or is it just another "Back2the Future" gimmick?
I don't get in the way of people bringing that kinda of stuff to the forum... the water4gas seems lame... just like all the other stuff...
You just have to pick and choose your battles on this forum... and decide what you want to get involved in...
You figure some of the questions we are asked... is it fuel or ignition... well you just can't tell them to give it a little either and see what it does... somebody would blow up their motor and want to sue...

Usually when I see a question like that and I don't know the answer, I will try to look it up, call my "life line"
and give them my sources for the info or I just stay out of it until someone that knows comes along. I like to think that I know enough to do quite a bit to my rig, BUT I'm no mechanic. My background comes from my step-dad making me spend the weekend in the garage working on all of his old street rods. lol Not to mention the Army, you have to fix your own crap half the time because alot of the "mechanics" can't figure it out.

With Turbonetics being a sponsor I just wondered if we ever looked at whether they or anyone elseshould be a sponsor if you see a certain level of discontent among forum members? Not my call but if the product isn't any good.... I have a ProCharger on my Corvette and no issues at all. I agree that it could be the install but some of the responses from Turbonetics stretch the imagination.
I don't know if they are still a sponsor or not.... Patrick would have to answer that...
and we have magnacharger on here... BlownChevy let me know personally that as mods on this forum we would get chargers at almost cost... just to let the new mods know...
