Tuff Country 4" suspension lift: good or bad?

Hey guys, I'm currently in the planning stage of lifting my 2006 H3, and I was wondering if the Tuff Country 4" suspension lift was any good (http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/index.... currency=USD) Any suggestions would also be much appreciated. Thanks!

I think it's pretty decent.... you can pick apart anything if you want...

but I've logged a couple hundred offroad miles with the owner of this ride... and he's done well....

I know a few years ago this specific kit was notorious for being squeaky after being installed, does this still stand true or has Tuff Country fixed it?

Dang Muddawg, that unit looks mean! How big are those tires? Which engine?

I've never heard Jeremy's H3 squeek.

That H3 is a 2008, those are 35" boggers, and he has the 3.7l. It's also a Base model that he added an ARB rear locker to.

Alright, I'm pretty sold on that lift. Thanks for the help!

I have the 4" Tuff Country lift on my H3 & I dont have any issues with it. It still rides good & no squeaks or noises at all.

During the install, if you do not use lithium or moly grease on the new bushings and sleeves for the cross member it will cause very annoying squeak. Not to mention premature bushing failure. A fellow H3 owner swears by regular lubing every 5000 miles during tire rotation. The last I spoke with him, he was looking at reinstalling his OEM wheels in addition to a 2" wheel spacer to clear the knuckles. I haven't seen or talked to him for a few months (he's deployed) to check his results.

Just for grins, not really detailed shots but this was shot back in 08 or is that "ought 8"? I ran the Mojave and mine is in the middle with torsion lift, left is Rancho and Right is Tuff Country. I was sitting in the packed trail in the center, must be why mine looks so much shorter?? lol or was it all the "stuff" I carry. Rolling parts house and armor.
In the side shot that's my white one in the front.
It was a great trip, we all made it with our different style of lift.

See what the right camera angle will do for size.

I think some spectators got their feets wet when this sunami hit them, but said "do it again" I had enough lift to keep the water out as I kept moving.
