Default tube doors

here is something to talk about.
These are Tube Doors for the Hummer H3. Right now they are prototypes, but the completed Tube Door should be available by December 2009.
(PROTOTYPES)

Maybe it's just me, but unless the top folds down I don't see the point of tubular doors. If that is what you like, you probably ought to be driving a Jeep Wrangler.

Nice design, nice work, but I agree....it's not a Wrangler.

neat idea if your rock crawling....... but not for me. Running over a parking stop is as close to rock crawling as we can get in Florida, and I can do that just fine with my doors on...lol

In their current form, hate 'em. If you started with stock doors, cutout the meat of the door (incl. window) leaving the mirrors, and put a tube crossmember for stiffness they could be an interesting option for summertime/warmer climates. That said, I think if it were that big a deal we would have bought Unlimited Rubicons instead.
