I have a 2007 H2 and for the second time in 6 months my radiator failed and leaked coolant into my transmission. GM is replacing my radiator and transmission along with all the hose and parts that go with it. Is this common or am I just lucky?

 

It happened to my 06, they covered everything. Hopefully not a recurrent problem, though your story doesn't make me feel better. Mine occurred at about 45K miles. Best of Luck to you!

 

My suggestion to you guys is to get a external tranny cooler. This is a very common problem. If you get a external cooler you eliminate the risk of it ever happening again, especially after your warranty runs out.
