Transmission problem?
I am getting a hesitation when my h3 is around 400 RPM and the speed is approx. 40 MPH. If I hold steady on the gas at this scenario, the vehicle seems to hesitate or slip. I have also found, recently this happens at acceleration from a stop if the vehicle is cold. Does this sound like tranny problems or should I check something else? Has anyone else had this problem?
I resurrected this thread because I am having a similar problem with my '09 H3 Alpha with 30k miles. It was never a problem with my '07 I-5 with 85K miles, however.
My "slippage" seems to occur at RPM's under 1100. It occurs after nearly slowing to a stop, but not quite stopping, and then accelerating. It is especially noticeable after slowing to make a right turn. Just for an instant the RPMs rev, up to about 1100, but no power is being transferred.
It is also noticeable when driving up the parking garage ramp. Speed limit is 10 MPH. Applying the gas with the added resistance of rolling uphill seems to cause the transmission to slip and the RPM's to rev, just for a second or two.
I took it to the Chevy, who is an authorized Hummer, dealer, and they said it was operating normally, but that I might consider changing the fluid. So I did have them service the transmission, but it is still doing the same thing.
Anybody else with this problem?

Just noticed my 06 doing this tonight... at about 45mph. I'll barely press on the gas while cruising in traffic on the freeway... and right when I'm around 40, 45 mph, is when I feel it the worst. But, if I really hammer it down on the gas, it seems to stop. Didn't look at my rpms though. Was going through the thread tonight and found this one! Dangit, wish more people would respond! I have 4,000mi. left on my extended warranty and wondering if I should get it checked out! Just had my tranny fluids changed as well. So, it's not that... hmmmmmm Any input would be GREAT guys!!!
