Transmision Problems

Hi all

Bought an 08 Hummer H3 about a month ago and love it so far . I have noticed when driving at speeds of 60-75 MPH the vehical will sputter or buck slightly when I either speed up or when I am going up hill. The local dealer is looking at it now and thinks the trany is not shifting into 4th gear and may need a new trany. Just wondeing if anybodyelse has had this issues.

I also notice that at these speeds the motor is running at 3,000-3,500 RPM which I think is high.

do the math

its too late for my brain 2nite but i once did the math. my 265 tires were 100 inches around. the diff ratio was 4.56. from that u can figger the rpm at any speed assuming no slip in the torq conv at constant speed.

happy dreams!

oops, 3rd gear is 1:1,,,overdrive is?.67? someone check me

my memory, i did that because i didnt believe the diff was 4.56!!, sounded like a dragster
