Transfer case problem H1 1997 1/2

Just drove around 700 miles in two days. When my transfer case all of a sudden was getting a strong bang in it
Somewhat like the chain slipping a cog. It will do it in high range and high lock but not in low range. Going only forward not reverse. I have replaced all new bearings, chain, sprockets and still the same bang when accelerating. Anybody have any suggestions? I have also replaced half shafts, drive shafts, checked front end. Still banging.

Thanks

This was MOVED from the HF Help & Suggestion Center because, like it says in that section in a sticky thread at the top.... "Do NOT post vehicle questions in this section" as that section is for questions on how to use the forum features..... got nothing to do with any vehicle,
