Default Tranny cooler install

Has anyone installed a transmission cooler on their truck yet? I bought one from perma-cool, and am going to give the install a shot on my 08 Alpha. Truck is still running hot even after a radiator flush and a new fan clutch. Hoping tranny cooler will help. Any advise/tips if you have installed one? how easy is it to get to the transmission lines?

Thanks in advance,
Josh

I don't think a tranny cooler will help the engine from running hot..Two seperate environments...I'd say also replace the thermostat next

They are not that difficult to install, there is plenty of room to find a mounting location for the cooler with a 3 behind the grill in front of the radiator.

I would intall a tranny cooler to cool down the engine. I will only cool off the transmision about 20 degrees. I would try a cooler thermostat like a 180 degree. I see you already intalled a new fan clutch. A fully locked up clutch would be best for you I suppose. I will make a cool blitzkrieg sound as well.
