Default Towing with H1

I want to tow with my H1 I do tow right now but is just a 8x12 utility trailer with quads in it. What are the best modifications to improve my towing. I was looking at buying the complete performance package from teaka toys chip, exhaust, injectors etc etc anyone have any input on this. I have another rig that I can tow with but on some trips I prefer to take the hummer please help.

Its a 2001 tt4 4 door wagon

I tow with my H1 but not far... Usually 1hour at most. and it is a homemade car trailer(heavier then it should be) with a Lifted jeep on the back.
The main mod I want to get to make my truck more capable tow rig is a cummins but yea thats alot of coin...
So for now here is the upgrade I plan to get.
12" brake upgrade(if you got the extra weight you want to be able to stop quick)
12k halfshaft upgrade
The performance kit you listed(chip, turbo wastegate controller, exhaust, injectors etc)
Intercooler or ATLEAST an aluminum rad to keep temps lower.
Swap out your hub fluids with synthetic gear oil.... definitely has alot less resistance afterwards.
Also was thinking on getting my engine rebuilt with firerings, some performance headers, etc.
Also before doing any performance upgrades you should really look into getting a EGT guage and boost guage.

well... if u want a tow-truck get a D-Max....... afterall... the main purpose of this truck is for extreme off-road conditions, not towing 10k lbs at 70 mph....

I tow a 22 foot bay boat a couple times a week around south texas with no problems. Mine used to run hot until I started using a fuel additive and since then it has run cool and has no towing issues.

I have towed my mom's Corvette many times on a 25" trailer, many hills involved on a few occasions and the truck never had a problem. It was not fast though.
It never had any issues pulling a 20ft boat or jet ski 3-5 hours on a bi-weekly basis, mostly highway miles.
