Default towing

I have this "truck bed trailer" that Iv been working on. The main uses are going to be going to Lowes every once in a while, and the longest trip, going to Ohio from Georgia to deer hunt once a year. To me, this trailer is heavy. each spring pack has 9 leafs in it, and the origional axil / stump is being used. do yall think that something like this would be too heavy to tow long distance with a H3.

Trailer leafs and a trailer axle will save you tons of weight. As far as towing long distance it depends on the gross weight loaded and the tongue weight.

Specs for your specific H3 are in the manual and the inner driver side door.

PS: Paint that trailer GREEN!

thanks for the replies. the origional "trailer/ truck" was a 74 GMC, but the bed was all to hell, so I junked it and found a 88 Ford f250 bed. I had to build brackets for the bed to mount, and replace the shocks, but its all good now.. Also, Ill be getting some aproperate sized tires (to match the H3) and paint the wheels satin black to mach as well.
@TAINTER,,, green was my intentions. Iv gotta do a little sanding on the bed, but thats about it and its going to be olive drab green. going to get the paint now!
thanks

I need to rewire my lights to work with my trailer plug. I had to get new sockets for the tail light lense housing, and some trailer wire.
the sockets are for the brake light/ blinker. Heres what I have,,
