Post #1:
Well we need to know what your are looking to get out of your tires?
On-road, off-road?
Where you live? Climate?
Is noise a concern?
What Look are you trying to acheive?

Post #2:
As for the largest tire you can put on the 18"x7.5" H3x rim without modification:

Large as in width? I don't know wide tires
Large as in height?
305/70R18
Tire Diam. 35.1"
Section Width 12.2"
Tread Width 9.8"

These are all approx #s due to different tire manufacturers having different specs. I based these specs on a Mickey Thompson MTZ Radial.

Hope this helps!

As per the other thread about Hankook tires, Im running them on my 18 inch VTECH Offroad wheels. The Dynapros are a great model and if you search the internet inquiring about them everyone is very very pleased. IMO great tire, not noisey on the highway, aggressive styling, long lasting and very affordable. heres another pic,

Same as above:
305/70R18
Tire Diam. 35.1"
Section Width 12.2"
Tread Width 9.8"

You don't want to go much wider on the stock rim.
