Default Tired of loosing front license plate

Hi there,
This is the 4th time I've lost my front license plate. It's located at the worst possible location (it's the lowest thing in the front of my H3).

As you can see in the pictures, after I tried to move back a little, in order to manage and climb this rock, the license plate hit the rock and got off the truck.

Has anyone relocated the front license plate? If yes, pictures would be useful

Thanks

Haim

You should remove it when you go Off-Roading.

How big are the plates in your country?

Is using self tapping screws right into your bumper on all 4 corners an option?

Do you have to have it on while wheeling? or else the take it off option seems best...

They make siezing(Permatex) compounds that stop screws from backing out. That might help.

I think the license plate issue is just a front for haiminger to show us more of his awesome Israeli offroading pictures. Nice pics! [/align]

Hi Alrock - I wish this was the reason for this post , but it realy is not.

It's the 3rd time this happend to me, and on one of those times it was lost, and I noticed it only when it was to late to go back and get it.

You can see the license plate here at this older picture attached. Is it the same size everybody else use?

good point.... what a scammer....

If you want it on then I think you are gonna have to remove the backet and just screw it into your bumper.... so it is nice and flat...

Haiminger, I know that wasn't the reason, just having fun. I looked around a bit at the winch bumpers out there and they either don't have front license mounts or it's no improvement over the stock one.

You could get a brush guard, light bar or push bar and mount it into that. Might not be pretty but it'd be effective. Have Hilljob fab something for you and ship it over to you.
