Default Which tire to get my new H3?

I'm looking at an all-terrain style that is mroe aggressive than the Wild Country XRT II' currently on the Hummer.

I need good road manners for daily driving, yet have good off-road capability for easy to mild trails and rocks.

I am down to the Cooper ST/MAXX or Kelly TSR.

The Coopers have a 3 play sidewall, the Kelly has two.

Kelly has larger voids and bigger lugs than the Cooper.

Those TSR's look nasty, but don't rule out MTR Kevlars

Where are you from? Lots of guys on here running those new trail grapplers too if you don't get ice where you're at they may be an option too!

We do get icy winters in NC. I need an all terrain for the weekdays and off-road the weekends.

I can get the ST/MAXX about $100 cheaper than the Kelly's.

I bet the kelly's weigh less and may offer better mpg's. I hear the Cooper is about 61 lbs for a 285/75R16.

Duratrac or trail grapplers are also nice.

I second the duratrac's, best all around tire especially if you get snow/ ice.

The Kelly Safari TSRs are the Kelly version of the Goodyear Duratracs.
