However at a glance, one can see that 07hummerH3 rounded up from 31.6496" as do the tire manufactures when listing their tire sizes...So the actual true tire size is usually smaller than listed.

Well done..excellent illistration[sm=smiley20.gif]
"At a gance" Dennis?!? I thought that you'd allow me some "poetic license" to round up without making mention of it. I'll be more precise next time.

Now that is the answer I needed, just a long detailed way to get there. Nice work. I will probably order one of those tomorrow.

In the new hummer stuff catalog, they have a H3x-esque tire cover that locks for a cool $849.00

I have this one as well...talked my salesman into throwing it in with the deal. I liked it because I wanted a cover and did not wish to go the $600+ for the nice hard painted ones I was seeing on Ebay, etc.. As previously posted, I took mine to my shoe repair man and had him put 2 grommets on the underneath (bottom) vinyl part and then put a thin rubber coated locking cable I made (couldn't find one thin enough to my liking in the stores) intertwined thru the wheel and to cover. The cover hides it so it worked well. In my neck of the woods, H3's are quite common and I did not want my tire cover walking away quite so easily and I figured this was a good deterrent.

This one below is a bit different too for those who like the chromed out look or want something in between the NEAT $800 one above and the less than $100 black molded plastic one. Check out Ebay always 1st for many of those Hummer needs. I have gotten quite a few items including OEM stuff for a lot less.

I found a vendor on ebay selling the exact one on the yellow H3 in the first post. But, they had a "make an offer" on it. I think I offered 60.00 and he took it (for anyone interested)... and I had to pay 10-15 bucks shipping.

I like it though. It suits me, not blingy and fits perfect. Nice and simple, just the way I like it.

Heres mine:

Fire, looks like my H3 (except for the NICE looking HUMMER lettering ya got there!) I thought I liked mine plain but if I hang around here long enough I may end up 'whizzing" mine up a little yet! I am seeing there are some neat things I can do to her to dress her up without chroming her out. [sm=gears.gif]

I don't care much for them.
