I have a 2006 H2 with the external spare tire carrier. The strap broke on it and i'm wondering where I can find one at. Its the safety strap the inserts around the carrier latch after you close it.

Strap? Mine has a thin braided cable attached to a quick release ball push pin that looks something like this:

I used them a lot on my sailboat. Marine supply stores have them and the cable. You can buy the crimp connectors and cable by the foot to make your own. Talk nice and they might even crimp them for you.
