New here and I have not seen a help on this topic.

I just purchased an LED bulb for the license plate but it does not look like there is a way to remove the bulb. (License plate is on the tire carrier, I removed the gray plastic housing and I see no way to access the bulb without breaking the housing)

Any help??

Is it an aftermarket spare tire carrier? I have one and had to replace the whole light assembly. they were about 8 dollars each so I bought two for when it burns out. You can get the part # off the outside of the assembly and google it.
