Ticking or popping from rear view mirror/left front upper speaker
 

Lately - can't tell you when it started - I've been having a ticking or popping sound come from either the rear view mirror area and then seperately from the passenger post speaker area.
The noise is inconsistant and never happens at the same time in the two areas.
I've tried changing radio stations, XM channels etc and it still continues.
At times it seems like the rear view mirror or that area is where the noise is and then other time it seems like it's the small speaker on the front frame passenger side.
I've then developed a squeak from the windshield on the driver's side.
No I haven't jumped or wrecked into anything to suddenly cause this. Shoot I've been too busy to even get her off road.
I guess could this be something to do with reception and the XM radio system (obviously I'm talking about the ticking/popping noise not the windshield)?
Anyone else experience this noise? I've seen other treads with windshield issues so I'll look into those for more info on that.

mine did that after i installed a aftermarket touch screen. after tinkering abit,I found that I needed to wrap the radio antenna plug up with black tape as it was picking up noise sending it through those little speakers....
