As many other threads on here have said these aren't the most powerful vehicles. They do well off road though with the HP/TQ that they come with but they're not race cars. as for the stress on your tranny on the hills I would say everyone on here with 35's would agree theirs do the same constantly looking for that happy place to get up a hill. Only way to compensate is to do what many others have with a CAI, better flowing exhaust, and pcm tune are the best bet for getting it back to almost the stock power "feeling" other than that we just ahve to accept the fact that these are slow.

I hear ya on those being best things to do. I have the stock size tires on. Just trying to see how good i can do without going into anything major. I think i would really benefit alot from just cleaning my tb though. High mileage and dunno when if ever it was done.

I just did mine and my MAF about 3 weeks ago. literally take 15 min to do both. you'll clean a bunch of stuff off of them. should clean up any rough idle you may have and you may notice it idling at a little lower RPM. At least I did.
