Default Think subwoofer is blown in 08 H3

Just bought an 08 H3 Alpha two months ago that had been sitting on a dealers lot since January. After a few weeks subwoofer at mid-volume sounds like a tin can. Still puts out bass but the vibration/tin noise makes it unbearable. I listen to hard rock and have had an 07 H3 for 3+ years with no issue. Could the subwoofer have dried out and cracked? They have it next to impossible to get to the damn speaker. Is this a warranty item with GM??? Any help I would appreciate!

I don't believe the speakers are warranty items I never had a speaker issue though so I would look into that. If its not, a replacement for the door speakers or the sub isn't hard to get your looking at tops $100 installed for a comparable speaker. Sometimes the oem ones pop up on here or ebay.

I also have an '08 Alpha, and there is a 4 year bumper to bumper warranty. I would check with the dealer and see what they say.

I have all my OEM speakers including the OEM subwoofer available for sale, I just haven't got around to putting them on ebay. All are in great condition. Let me know if you're intersted or once I list them on ebay, I'll post up a link.

Provided you're under 50K, of course it's under warranty. I don't know what reason anyone would think it is not.
