Is there a quick/easy way to know if I have satellite radio?
2007 H3. Just wondering if there's a quick/easy way to tell if I have satellite radio installed? Thanks for any detailed answers / help.

my band button cycles thru,am,fm1,fm2,sat1,sat2, back to am.
on sat i get constant commercials to sign up,,, id like to kill! |

My 07 had OnStar but NO satellite radio. I had been under the impression that they came together, which was not the case. Like mentioned above, it will show up when you cycle through the bands on your radio if you have it.
Your head unit may be ready for it, but could be missing the actual satellite receiver, which resides inside the dash...I think behind the glove box. |

Thanks for all the replies. I have OnStar, but not Satellite. Taking a long trip in the near future and undecided between getting the satellite radio or just playing cd's when I can't find a good radio station.

My 06' H3 has onstar and no satellite radio so I picked up from Sirius part# SIR-GM1 and it hooks up to the radio and then I was able to use it for satillite stations. You use your stock radio to control it and not an aftermarket radio. There is a box that you can mount under the dash and I just had to run the antenna and a wire to the fuse box for power which was no big deal. Hope this helps.
