The costs of THCI Events are well worth it. I know personally that after you attend one you'll see that you get your money's worth. My wife and I attend three to four events per year and wouldn't think twice about the cost.

I understand.... but remember this, we are going to try and do this event more then once (in the future). But that is not a garuntee by anymeans.... I am going to do my best at putting on a high class event.... I have had folks come from North Carolina, New York, Florida, Penn, etc for a snow run that I have run in Grayling.... I would like to believe this event would be well worth it.... I think if your wife loves the HUMMER she will likely have a great time at the event....

I figured out this is Friday and Saturday event. 
Doh. I have one commitment for work of Friday [:@], but I amtrying on ridding myself of that so I can go. As soon as I can open up Friday, I will be signing up!!! I should know next week, and will get signed up right after.
I think this will be a good one phazer. Kudos to you guys. If the weather cooperates, it could be over the top.

I called the Residence INN and the Marriot.... the Marriot doesn't seem to have many, if any rooms available. The Residence will be holding rooms for our special rate under "The Hummer Club" so be sure to mention that when you call.

There are 14 trucks signed up at this time..... still room for many more!!
20 room blocks at both the Residence Inn and the Quality Inn listed in the event details..... prices are $99 and $69 respectively just mention the Hummer club....

I believe that driving all the way from Toronto is well worth it, the cost is fine and only minor compared to the gas.......we also have another driver coming from Montreal too... we will be driving 8 hours on thursday to be there the night before for the event...

at this time I have one person signed up who will be driving, from my calculations, 940 miles or 1,500 km.... just to get to South Bend.....

I still have not got my Friday cleared, but I am continuing to work on freeing that up. I do not want to miss this one.
