Tachometer and Speedometer not lighting up during the daytime
 

Bought an 08 H3 Alpha last year, love it, noticed my dashboard lights, tachometer and speedometer, don't light up during the day but do at night, which makes it hard to see the speedo when the dashboard is shaded. Am I losing my mind, aren't they supposed to be backlight all of the time ?

No back lighting on any of the gauges. You are kidding right?

The only lighting I have on my instrument panel is which gear I am in and the odometer reading. I brought my h3 to my local gm and they are saying it is supposed to be like that, is this true ?

NO, there isn't any back lighting on the gauges when the driving or headlights are off.

I've never had a hard time seeing the gauge cluster during the day??? Do you have some kind of dark tint on your windows?

No tinting, just hard to see when the dashboard is shaded, I find I have to lift up my sunglasses. Thank you so much for letting me know it is supposed to be that way. Just joined the hummer forum and posted my first question, I am sure I'll have a lot more.
