Anyone know where I can find a copy of tonneau cover installation instructions. I'm trying to decide if I should try to install myself or leave to the professionals. Local dealer says 2.5 hour project.

 

From what I have read it sounds like a bitch to install and depending on your skill level at that kind of stuff will probably take you much longer than 2 hours. I would say let dealer do it to insure you have a good fit with very few leaks. Mine was a dealer installed opion and I love it, nice tight fit, very minor leaks.

 

Let the dealer do it..................trust me

Found my instructions, but they are too large to imbed in my reply. Shoot me a PM and I can send them. If any of the Admins/Moderators want to post these elsewhere, send me a PM and I will e-mail them also. The file size is 522KB, it is a scan of a multi-generation fax.

The install was not too bad, I did it myself as I was too impatient to wait on the dealer to schedule my appointment.

I posted this on another thread... Dealer intalled mine for about $1200. It took them 2.5+ hours. Good thing is it carries cover and installation warranty. The way to go.
