SUT Roof Rack question
 

I just got my H2 SUT and the roof rack bar is adjusted over the sunroof... there is a rubber stop in the rail that keeps me from being able to move the rack bar back behind the sunroof... is this correct or should i remove the rubber stop so i can adjust the rail back behind the sunroof? Thanks for any insight.

Congrats on the SUT. Post some pics! Mine also had the bar above the sunroof when I bought it. I just had to loosen the knobs and it slid back. Yours should do the same. How are the rubber stops fastened?

I think the rubber stops are removable but I am not sure. They are inserted into the side rails and block the cross bars from sliding backwards on the side rails.

The rubber stops will come right out by hand, who knows why Hummer put them there. We have removed hundreds at the shop. After you loosen the rack and remove the rubber stops it should slide freely front the rear. Just remember to line up the small lines on the out side ends of the rack to the lines on the upper plastic moulding below it so you will have the rack locked down correctly.

I got the stops out today and the racks moved back with no problem at all!!! Now I can see clearly out the sunroof...
