subwoofer install 08 H2 SUT
 

Any ideas on how to install a subwoofer on the 2008 H2 SUT? I been searching for ideas, butno one that has a 2008 H2 SUT installed a sub :(.

There seems to be limited info on the '08's. Let me know what you find out.
I doubt it's the same as the older models, what with the different head unit and all.

Wow, that's funny, I work part time at a stereo shop and this guy pulled in Wednesday night when he saw my hummer in front to the shop and wanted a complete make over for his new 06SUT that he just bought. Not sure how it differ's from year to year in the SUT's but no one makes a stealth or sub for this truck.

We are ordering 2 of these new JL Audio sub's for him and making a enclosure for him. I'm not sure yet if we'll be using 1 or 2 of these subs or what size the box will be. I can tell you these speakers are NOT cheap price wise so they must perform very well. I will let you know once the job is done in afew weeks.

Maybe I'll tell the installer to make a mold of the sub box so we'll have something to go by next time to sell to others.

There are a couple of different companies that make enclosures. I found this one on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...3756.m20.l1116
I dont know how well it fits or anything, but thought it might help you out.

Nice, Thanks 08H2SUT, Im going to look into this as well to see what they say.

Does anyone know what the difference is from 2005 to 2008 in the SUT's are? Are the interiors the same??

The Hummer H2 SUV and SUT version is currently shipping with an MSRP of $998.44.

So, Im thinking it might. Depends on how many interior changes there are to the 08 from previous years.
