strange "string" in glove box
 
When I open the glove box, at the front, inside right corner there is a thin black rope/string with a plastic piece at the end of it. It doesn't seem to serve a purpose..or does it?

What ever you do don't pull it. It's the ejection seat control. Actually I have no clue what it is. Nothing like that on mine.

It regulates the opening of the glove box door.
