Default Spots in my drive way

Lately I've been noticing some spots in the drive way. Cant really say if its oil....doesnt look like complete oil more like a diluted dark substance.

Any how, recently had the oil changed. I took it back to the dealer when I first noticed the spots. He saw it was rolling off of the diferential. He checked the level and said it was fine. He thinks that maybe they spilled oil and cleaned it off (under neath).

Its not a lot of oil, but If I let the H2 sit over night there is an 8 inch spot in the morning.

I'm wondering if the morning condensation that collects on the skid plate is acumulating and rolling off with whatever "oil" was left behind on the plate.

Any one familiar iwth this or typical leaks for the 03 H2?

Thanks

my front diff has leaked multiple times, typically from where axle on the driver's side goes in. take it to a diy carwash and wash off the diff with engine degreaser. if you feel energetic, take off the skid plate and wash that off as well to get rid of any buildup of crud and then give the underside of the engine and tranny a good degreasing. that will help you locate any new leaks if it is actually leaking. an 8 inch spot underneath seems like a good bit more than residual oil from an oil change.

Yeah.... I'd side with Shorty.... Drop that skidplate and make sure you don't have a puddle there... Me thinks you are gonna find a mess to clean up. My axle is leaking and it doesn't leave any type of puddle.

a little bit of dawn dish soap,a scrub brush and elbow grease.then wash,it might not look like it came out,but rinse the crap outta it and in a couple of days you should see a difference

an 8" puddle is actually a big puddle, lets hope you dont have more issues

I like to use speedy dry and then grind it into the spot.... works like magic.

Pressure washers work also.

Why?? Is your Princess in heat......

My Jeep took a piddle on my concrete driveway too. Then again it's 18 years old[sm=smiley36.gif]

I gotta try the Dawn trick, bought some degreaser-like wash from Costco and all it did was eat my brush.
